NaSoAlMo 2007

Scramble (NaSoAlMo 2007):

Sunrise
Coming Out For You
TV Show Song
What You're Thinking
Now & Then
Gravity
Technopaste

Notes:

In several of the songs, you can hear my dog's tags rattling in the background.

"What You're Thinking" uses samples from the Vinyl Sounds pack by totalcult.

"Now & Then" and "Gravity" were written the quickest. "Now & Then" was written and recorded in about 3 hours. For "Gravity", I came up with the chorus lyrics and the reversed sample first. The rest of the song was written and recorded on the night of November 30th. I think it's probably my favorite.

My personal goal was to complete 8 songs, 1 instrumental, and a short intro, so I failed on that, but I did end up with several more song ideas that I didn't have time to finish. I think next time, I'd like to try this more relaxed and have a bit more of a theme.

All in all, it was a pretty fun experience, and I look forward to trying it again next year.
